Why Pilates ?

Pilates can improve flexibility at any age

The Pilates method is based on the execution of movements which develop the flexibility and elongation of muscles. As the exercices are carried out slowly and in depth, the regular practice of Pilates movements enables a gradual gain of flexibility and elongation, noticeable between lessons. Even the stiffest person will observe, after only a few classes, a remarquable evolution of general flexibility accompanied by a liberating feeling in the joints, no matter his/her age!

The primary objective of this ingenious technique is to learn how to better understand and master the body’s capabilities in order to develop both the physical and mental potential for an undeniable feeling of wellness.

By re-aligning the spine and the body, one develops a better proprioception as well as better reflexes, which in turn improve balance and stability. About Pilates

What is my Pilates ?

My Pilates is a Postural Pilates. The purpose of my classes is to help people understand their morphology, to become aware of their posture, and to gradually build a deep musculature starting from the perineum in order to try to work on their muscles as close as possible to their organs, their bones.

It is a very intense technique which requires a lot of body awareness but is accessible to everyone. (...)

Who do I teach ?

I teach Pilates to dancers, opera singers, blind people, pregnant women or postpartum women; I also have many clients who come to me with back pain. 

I also teach men or women of all levels of experiences simply wishing to lengthen their muscles.

My approach to Pilates is truly about respecting and understanding the body of each individual.
